"Mama"

Forrest decided that he was ready to put a fine twist on his vowel sounds yesterday. As he lay on his back staring up at me with an ornery grin while I changed his "pee-pee di-dee" he drew his bottom lip snug underneath his top and began his newfound babble: "Ma-ma, ma-mah... Ma-ma, ma-mah."

I had the chance to catch a bit of his Ma-ma's for keepsake after bath-time last evening... he was however, exhausted and cranky, but it is still enough to make my knees all jello-y.

  1. The last thing I want to do, amidst this joyful experience of yours, is to disappoint you, but I distinctly hear him saying "Pop-pop."
